Arrival by car:

• From/via Munich approximately 2 hours
 
• From/via Salzburg approximately 1 hour: Tauern motorway in south direction until Bischofshofen, exit Gasteinertal, federal road 167 until Dorfgastein.

• From/via Innsbruck approximately 2 hours: motorway via Wörgl, federal road 312 via St.Johann/Tirol until Lofer, federal road 311 via Zell am See until Lend, federal road 167 until Gastein or motorway - Kufstein - Salzburg - Villach, exit Gasteinertal, federal road 167 until Gasteinertal.

• From/via the south you go via Villach, Möllbrücke and Obervellach to Mallnitz, and from there you easily reach Gastein via the Autoschleuse. Every 60 minutes (or in the summer on the main travelling days every 30 minutes) the Tauernschleuse departs from Mallnitz to Böckstein in Gastein.   » Timetable Autoschleuse

Arrival by train:
At the railway stations Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein Euro- and Intercity trains, fast and express trains stop, however not all at the railway station Dorfgastein. There are always taxi and auto bus connections to the individual parts of the places. The next loading place of train-car-ferry ist located in Bischoshofen. A delivery and collecting service carries out the luggage transfer.

Arrival by plane:
You can also arrive our hotel by plane. You can fly to the next Airport Salzburg (80 km from hotel) or Munich (250 km from hotel). We can organise for you a shuttle service or transfer service by taxi. Prices are different, depending on the type of service, between 28.- and 60.- Euros one way.
